Mathilde Favier, the esteemed PR executive for Dior, will be honored at her funeral on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Saint-Sulpice. Favier, who tragically lost her life in a car accident on August 17, was 57 years old and also mourned for her companion, French producer Nicolas Altmayer.
With a distinguished career at Dior, Favier cultivated relationships with celebrities like Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence, as well as influential editors and industry leaders. Her vibrant personality and passion for art de vivre made her a beloved figure, both personally and on social media, where she gained 30,000 followers posthumously, totaling 272,000.
Jonathan Anderson, Dior’s creative leader, paid tribute to her, stating, “Mathilde was the very embodiment of elegance and in many ways, the spirit of couture itself.” Favier's legacy in the fashion world remains profound.
