Good Good Golf Faces Backlash Over Controversial Ad Featuring Violence

By Editor • August 23, 2026 • 1 min read

Good Good, a popular golf brand and content creator, has issued an apology after releasing an advertisement that depicted a woman being pushed to the ground. The video, created for Callaway, featured Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark shoving professional golfer Alexis Miestowski while exclaiming, "Do not touch my new driver." This portrayal sparked outrage, with critics accusing the brand of trivializing violence against women.

With over 2 million subscribers on YouTube, Good Good has built a reputation for promoting inclusivity in the sport. In their statement on X, the brand acknowledged the ad did not reflect their values and expressed regret for its release, stating, "We have since taken that content down, and sincerely apologize."

Callaway, which has partnered with Good Good since 2023, also voiced disappointment regarding the incident, emphasizing their commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in golf. The PGA Tour, which is collaborating with Good Good for the upcoming Good Good Championship in Texas, reiterated its stance against violence and its dedication to inclusivity.
