Google Unveils Pixel 11 Series for Pre-Order with Enticing Promotions

Google has officially launched its Pixel 11 series, featuring a standard model, two Pro versions, and an innovative foldable variant. Pre-orders are now open, with the devices set to hit stores on August 20.
This latest lineup sees a shift in specifications due to rising RAM prices. Each model now comes with 256GB of storage as standard, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models boast 12GB of RAM. For those desiring 16GB, options are limited to the 512GB or 1TB configurations. The base model includes 12GB of RAM, while the foldable variant impressively features 16GB.
The Google Pixel 11 retains its appeal with the same Tensor G6 chipset found in its pricier counterparts, though it lacks the HiLight RGB LED. The main camera sensor has been upgraded to 48MP, surpassing its predecessor, while the existing telephoto and ultra-wide lenses remain unchanged. Charging options have improved, with 25W Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging now available, although wired charging remains at a modest 30W.
For those opting for the Pixel 11 Pro, the HiLight LED is included, serving as both a notification light and an aid for the Gemini AI. This model features a sharper 6.3” OLED display and enhanced camera capabilities, including a 50MP main sensor and an autofocus ultra-wide lens. A notable change in the telephoto camera setup also raises questions about performance differences from last year.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL builds on the Pro's features with a larger 6.8” display and a 5,115mAh battery, albeit slightly reduced from its predecessor. Wired charging has seen a slight speed increase, now reaching 75% in just half an hour.
The new Pixel 11 Pro Fold stands out with its slimmer and lighter design, measuring 10.1mm when folded. However, this reduction comes at the cost of battery capacity, which has dropped to 4,806mAh. The main camera is similar to the vanilla model's, which may be a letdown for some users seeking premium performance.
As part of the pre-order incentives, Amazon is offering a gift card or the option to send in an old device for a trade-in bonus. Shoppers can also choose a free Google Pixel Watch 5, although the larger model incurs an additional cost.
The Pixel Watch 5 features the same design and hardware as its predecessor but boasts double the storage and enhancements in health tracking and AI capabilities. Additionally, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 have received a new color option and software upgrades.
While a Pixel 11a is on the horizon, it won't be available for several months, leaving the Pixel 10a as the budget-friendly option for now.
