Google Unveils 2026 Pixel Series, Watch, and Fitbit: A Closer Look

By Editor • August 14, 2026 • 2 min read

Today marks the launch of Google's latest lineup for 2026, featuring the Pixel 11 series smartphones, the Pixel Watch 5, and the Fitbit Air. Each device brings functional enhancements, making it an exciting time for tech enthusiasts.

The Pixel 11 series kicks off with the standard model, which maintains a familiar design but introduces significant upgrades. A new Tensor G6 chip powers the device, complemented by 12GB of RAM and an impressive 256GB of base storage. The battery capacity slightly increases to 4985mAh, now supporting faster 25W wireless charging. The main camera also benefits from a larger sensor; however, it lacks the new HiLight notification LED found in the Pro variants.

In terms of design, the Pixel 11 feels similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 10, featuring a matte metal frame and vibrant new color options like the eye-catching Hibiscus. Up next are the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models, which bring additional features, including the innovative HiLight LED—an interactive notification light that glows in various patterns for incoming messages or calls from your contacts. While this feature remains untested in our hands-on, it promises to add a unique touch to notifications.

The Pro variants also enjoy a brighter display and camera enhancements, boasting a 50MP main camera and a new 48MP telephoto lens. However, the base model's memory has been reduced to 12GB, with the higher 16GB option now exclusive to the 512GB variant. A new color scheme includes a light orange Canyon finish with polished aluminum accents.

Introducing the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Google has managed to create a lighter device compared to its previous version while keeping flagship specifications intact. It features the same updated chipset and cameras, although the battery has decreased to 4806mAh from last year's 5015mAh. The Fold's design includes a more compact camera bar, but the crease on the display remains prominent, which may deter some potential buyers.

Shifting focus from smartphones, the Pixel Watch 5 has been unveiled, boasting improved performance, double the storage at 64GB, and larger batteries for both its 41mm and 45mm models. Aesthetically, it mirrors the Pixel Watch 4, with the showcased model being a striking 45mm Champagne Gold version.

Additionally, Google showcased the new Olive green Pixel Buds Pro 2. While a fresh color option, functionality remains unchanged from previous iterations. Lastly, the Fitbit Air, a budget-friendly fitness tracker, has been introduced to the Indian market, following its announcement in May, with availability set for October.

Stay tuned for detailed reviews as these devices hit the shelves in the coming months.
