HK$1.03 Billion Bid Secures Northern Metropolis Development for Consortium

A consortium, featuring several mainland Chinese companies alongside a subsidiary of a Hong Kong developer, has clinched a significant land development project in the Northern Metropolis. The winning bid, amounting to HK$1.03 billion (approximately US$132 million), marks the first major land disposal initiative in this area.
The Development Bureau revealed the tender results on Monday, confirming that the project spans 10.5 hectares in Hung Shui Kiu. The consortium, known as HSK New Development Limited, is expected to invest a total of HK$16.8 billion into the venture.
