iPhone X and 15-inch MacBook Pro Declared Obsolete by Apple

Apple's iconic iPhone X, celebrated as the company's 10th anniversary device, has officially been listed as obsolete, almost nine years after its debut. Alongside it, the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro has also joined the list.

Once products are deemed obsolete, they lose eligibility for hardware service, and repair centers can no longer source replacement parts. Typically, items are added to this list more than seven years after being discontinued, although some Mac models may receive battery service for a decade, depending on parts availability.

The iPhone X last saw software updates with iOS 16.7.16, while the MacBook Pro concluded its software support with macOS 15.7.7.
