In a recent statement, Mayor Bass emphasized the importance of collaboration, urging both parties to find common ground. She stated, "While there are varying perspectives on the proposed transaction, today we are united around one clear message: this is not about taking sides."
The antitrust case, which involves 12 states, has created significant hurdles for the merger, and Bass is advocating for an urgent resolution to facilitate the deal.
