Olivia Rodrigo Launches Daisy Chain Fields Festival with Empowering Fashion

By Editor • August 29, 2026 • 1 min read

Olivia Rodrigo has officially opened the Daisy Chain Fields Festival in Great Park, Irvine, California, featuring an impressive lineup of female artists including Stevie Nicks and Mitski. This inaugural event emphasizes Rodrigo's commitment to progressive pop music and social causes, as it showcases a diverse array of woman-led acts.

In a significant gesture, Rodrigo announced a $10 million donation to ten non-profit organizations focused on reproductive rights, mental health, and domestic violence. She expressed gratitude towards ticket buyers and sponsors during a press conference, emphasizing the importance of supporting women and girls.

Rodrigo’s fashion choice for the festival was equally striking and meaningful. She donned a custom pink embroidered mini-dress from the Palestinian brand Nöl Collective, adorned with traditional Tatreez embroidery that symbolizes freedom. Complementing her outfit were vintage Gucci Mary Janes and a pendant referencing the iconic Lilith Fair, a festival that inspired her vision for Daisy Chain Fields.

“Daisy Chain Fields was created to celebrate the power of what can happen when we come together to support one another,” Rodrigo said, surrounded by leaders from the organizations benefiting from the festival. Attendees can also look forward to unique merchandise and a curated collection from female-owned Etsy shops, further reinforcing the festival's message of empowerment.
