Panic, the indie publisher behind the Playdate handheld, is refunding customers for tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
This decision follows a February Supreme Court ruling declaring the tariffs illegal and mandating refunds for affected companies.
In a recent update, Panic announced it has started receiving refunds for the tariffs paid and has passed these refunds back to customers, who previously faced a 19 percent surcharge on their Playdate orders due to low profit margins.
