Pringles Unveils New Dippers to Solve Chip-Dip Dilemma
By Editor • August 26, 2026 • 1 min read
Pringles is addressing a long-standing issue faced by chip lovers with the launch of its new product, Pringles Dippers. Known for their iconic shape, traditional Pringles often struggle under the weight of heavy dips, leading to breakage. The brand's latest innovation features a thicker, wavier design specifically engineered to withstand the challenge of dipping without crumbling.
The Dippers will come in original, French onion, and cheddar bacon flavors and are set to hit stores in September, just in time for major events like Thanksgiving and the Super Bowl. This release marks a hopeful return to form for Pringles, especially after some less successful collaborations in recent years.
This isn’t Pringles’ first foray into the dipping market; the brand previously attempted a similar product called Pringles Rippled Potato Chips in the '80s. While the original Dippers were available in the U.K. and Ireland in the early 2000s, they were eventually discontinued. With the new and improved Dippers, Pringles aims for a more successful comeback.
