Scottie Scheffler Dominates St Jude Championship with Eight-Stroke Victory

Scottie Scheffler showcased his dominance at the St Jude Championship, securing an impressive eight-shot victory with a final round of 4-under-par 66 in Memphis, Tennessee. This win not only marked his first triumph since January but also bolstered his lead in the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Finishing at 17-under 263, Scheffler outpaced runner-up Si Woo Kim, who shot a 68 on Sunday. The victory represents the tournament's second-largest margin in three decades and the largest at TPC Southwind.

“I felt like I’ve been in a good rhythm,” Scheffler said, reflecting on his performance. Despite not hitting as many fairways, his sharp iron play and solid putting made the difference. His lead grew steadily throughout the final round, highlighted by birdies on the 11th, 13th, and 16th holes. Looking ahead, Scheffler will head to St Louis for the BMW Championship, a tournament he claimed last year.
