Tragic Family Incident Claims Three Lives Off Sussex Coast

A family outing turned tragic as a couple and their teenage daughter lost their lives while swimming off the Sussex coast. Emergency services rushed to Shoreham-by-Sea on Tuesday afternoon after reports of four individuals in distress in the water near Shoreham Fort.
Chief Superintendent James Collis confirmed that despite prompt efforts from paramedics, the three deceased include a man, a woman, and their daughter. A younger girl from the family remains hospitalized in critical condition. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact Sussex Police.
