Ukraine Intensifies Strikes on Russian Targets Amid Rising Tensions

In a bold escalation of hostilities, Ukraine has launched a series of long-range strikes against Russian military assets, including a critical airfield and a rocket production facility tied to Russia's satellite network.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the attacks utilized domestically manufactured Flamingo cruise missiles, successfully hitting the Progress Centre, located approximately 900km from the Ukrainian border. This operation illustrates Ukraine's growing strike capabilities as Zelenskyy aims to bring the conflict closer to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Simultaneously, the Russian authorities are demanding clarification from Washington and Ankara concerning a rumored transfer of significant U.S. weapons to Ukraine, purportedly held by Turkiye. The Russian Foreign Ministry warned that such a transfer could severely damage relations with both nations.
The conflict's toll continues to rise, with reports of a Ukrainian drone strike injuring two in Shatura and a deadly Russian attack on an apartment block in Marhanets, claiming the life of a three-month-old infant.
