Nepal is ramping up rescue efforts for hundreds of workers trapped in tunnels at the Trishuli-3A hydropower site, following devastating flash floods on Wednesday.
The floods have claimed at least 794 lives, with over 2,400 individuals still unaccounted for. Authorities are focusing on five hydropower projects, including the Upper Trishuli complex, where approximately 350 workers may be enclosed within the submerged tunnels.
