X Introduces NFL Gametime: A New Hub for Football Fans

By Editor • August 26, 2026 • 1 min read

X has rolled out a fresh feature called "NFL Gametime," designed to enhance the experience of football enthusiasts on the platform. This dedicated feed allows users to access a blend of news, data, and creator content, all tailored to the NFL season, right alongside other popular streams like "For You" and "Following." The feed will remain active from the season's kickoff until the conclusion of the 2027 Super Bowl.

This initiative aims to attract sports fans and major advertisers who have previously hesitated to engage with the platform. The NFL Gametime hub includes a static section displaying real-time scores and statistics, making it easier for fans to stay informed during games.

Monique Pintarelli, head of global advertising for X's parent company, SpaceXAI, highlighted the opportunity for brands to connect with passionate fans throughout the season, enhancing engagement for advertisers.

Despite facing challenges, including a lawsuit regarding alleged boycotts from notable advertisers, X has settled with the World Federation of Advertisers, aiming to improve brand safety and restore relationships. The new NFL feed features contributions from prominent sports journalists and commentators.

Brent Lawton, the NFL’s vice president of media strategy, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing that X has long been a vital platform for NFL fans to engage with the sport.
