Calls for Reform from Accuser of Osaka Prosecutor

A former prosecutor, known by the pseudonym Hikari, is advocating for significant reforms within her previous office after accusing her former boss of rape.
In 2024, she alleged that Kentaro Kitagawa, the former head of the Osaka District Public Prosecutor’s Office, assaulted her six years prior. Although Kitagawa admitted to the act, he later retracted his confession and claimed it was consensual.
