Carlos Queiroz Returns as Ghana's Coach After Brief Resignation

Carlos Queiroz has been reinstated as the head coach of Ghana's national football team, just two months after stepping down following the World Cup.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced that the 73-year-old Portuguese will begin a new coaching role during the upcoming international window.

Queiroz, who previously guided Ghana to the round of 32 at the World Cup, brings a wealth of experience, having coached teams like Portugal, Iran, and Egypt. His first challenge will be leading Ghana in qualifying matches against Ivory Coast for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
