Michael Zheng Shines in US Open Debut

Michael Zheng, a 22-year-old wildcard from Columbia University, marked a memorable debut at the US Open by defeating Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 on a rainy Wednesday.

Having traveled from northern New Jersey for years to train at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Zheng’s journey has come full circle as he now competes on one of tennis's biggest stages.
