Climate Activism and Political Promises

The conference was also marked by a protest from Greenpeace, who interrupted a speech by Richard Tice, raising concerns about the environmental impact of the government's policies. Amy Cameron from Greenpeace criticized Tice's celebration of the British wine industry amidst severe climate challenges, accusing the Reform party of being funded by billionaires who profit from fossil fuels.

During his address, Farage outlined his vision for the party, promising to expand their capabilities in crucial areas such as defense and health. As he spoke about the need for urgent reforms, he also made a bold prediction that a General Election would take place in the spring, vowing that any of his ministers failing to meet their commitments within the first 100 days would be dismissed.
