Djrum Announces Upcoming DJ-Kicks Mix Featuring New Tracks

British producer Djrum is set to release a DJ-Kicks mix on October 16, following a remarkable return to music with his EP, Meaning’s Edge, in late 2024. This upcoming mix is part of the acclaimed !K7 series and showcases 33 tracks, including exclusive contributions from artists like Skee Mask and Clark.

Among the highlights is Djrum’s original track, “Psychic Video,” along with four new compositions by him. The mix features a blend of sounds, with the Raincoats’ deep cut “Only Loved at Night” adding a unique twist. Djrum recorded the mix by live vinyl mixing, enhancing the experience with post-production edits.

“I like things to be a bit bumpy,” he stated, emphasizing his desire to challenge listeners' expectations. Other artists included in the mix are Chris Watson, Venetian Snares, and Susumu Yokota, promising a diverse auditory journey.
