Howard Stern Transfers SiriusXM Channel to Andy Cohen

In a surprising move, Howard Stern is officially passing the reins of one of his SiriusXM channels to Andy Cohen, effective September 1. This shift follows last year’s playful prank where Cohen pretended to take over Howard 100, Stern’s primary channel, amid retirement speculation.
This time, the transition involves Channel 101, which has primarily featured archival content from Stern's show. As Stern reduces his weekly appearances to just one show, he has also secured a deal with HBO Max to transform his live SiriusXM broadcasts into streaming episodes.
In a lighthearted exchange, Cohen jokingly questioned whether this was another prank. Stern assured him it was genuine, requesting Cohen to continue the tradition of lively and entertaining programming. Alongside this change, Stern will unveil a new lineup for Howard 100 on September 14, which includes an expanded Wrap Up Show.
