Jil Sander Welcomes Marco Viganò as New CEO

Milan's luxury fashion scene sees a significant shift as Jil Sander appoints Marco Viganò as its new CEO, effective immediately. Viganò steps into this pivotal role following the brief tenure of Serge Brunschwig, who departed in July 2025 after just six months.

Ubaldo Minelli, CEO of OTB Group, expressed confidence in Viganò's appointment, highlighting the brand's unique creative heritage and identity. 'Marco’s experience and knowledge of international markets will contribute to the brand’s growth journey,' Minelli stated, emphasizing the strategic support Viganò will bring in enhancing Jil Sander's global positioning.

Before joining Jil Sander, Viganò held prominent roles including global chief client officer and president EMEA at Moncler, where he reshaped client development and customer experience strategies. His extensive career spans notable positions at luxury houses such as Audemars Piguet, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci, complemented by experience at McKinsey & Company. Viganò is armed with an economics and business degree from Università Cattolica in Milan.
