MOWALOLA Unveils Eccentric Jordan Collaboration with a Twist

MOWALOLA has officially launched its first collaboration with the Jordan brand, and it’s anything but conventional. The campaign, aptly titled 'Something's Off,' showcases a surreal aesthetic that pairs the iconic sneaker with a haunting backdrop, reminiscent of a scene from American Horror Story. Shot by renowned photographer Norbert Schoerner, the visuals capture the essence of MOWALOLA's unique style.
The centerpiece of this collection is the Air Jordan 14 mule, featuring distinctive 'aged' leather uppers. Alongside this striking design, consumers will find a laced-up version of the Jordan 14 and a range of apparel including oversized leather bomber jackets, co-branded micro patent shorts, and tartan tracksuits. The release encapsulates MOWALOLA's flair for blending luxury with streetwear, turning classic symbols into contemporary fashion statements.
Founded by Mowalola Ogunlesi, the brand emphasizes themes of 'individuality' and 'reinvention.' Ogunlesi expressed her intent behind the collaboration, stating, 'Individuality is at the heart of this project. I wanted to create a world where being completely yourself is the thing that makes you powerful.' The collection will be available on September 19 through MOWALOLA's website, with a global launch set for September 26, and a pop-up shop at 95 Oxford Street in London to further immerse fans in this eclectic vision.
