Le Labo Unveils Shiu 25: A Fragrance Tribute to Beijing's Tranquil Essence

Le Labo has introduced its latest limited-edition fragrance, Shiu 25, which pays tribute to the serene beauty of Beijing. This new addition to their City Exclusives collection captures the city's essence beyond its bustling streets, focusing instead on its traditional, tranquil spaces.

Shiu 25 features a captivating blend of powdery iris, resinous frankincense, and rich woods. This fragrance is designed to evoke the peaceful ambiance of Beijing’s historic artisanship, reminiscent of well-worn wooden floors and hidden gardens that offer solace from the urban hustle.

Le Labo's Beijing He Yuan Fragrance Lab, established last year in the culturally significant Beizi Mansion, embodies this tranquil spirit. Located in a traditional siheyuan, or courtyard house, the boutique provides a serene atmosphere for visitors, showcasing Le Labo’s iconic glass bottles on dark wooden shelves.

Deborah Royer, the global brand president and creative director, shared that the City Exclusive fragrances aim to honor the places that leave lasting impressions on us. Shiu 25, she notes, represents an invitation to embrace calm and self-reflection amidst the chaos of modern life. This fragrance, along with others from the City Exclusive line, will be available globally until the end of September, after which it will return exclusively to Beijing.
