Leaders of Hong Kong's Tiananmen Vigil Sentenced and Fined

In a significant ruling, three former leaders of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China have been handed jail sentences of up to seven years and three months. In addition to the prison sentences, the court imposed a hefty fine of HK$1.5 million on the disbanded alliance, marking a severe crackdown on the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong.
