Liverpool Secures Young Goalkeeper Brughmans in Potential £30m Deal

Liverpool has finalized the acquisition of 18-year-old goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Genk for a deal potentially reaching £30 million, including add-ons.

Brughmans, who stands at an impressive 6ft 7in, has signed a six-year contract and will continue on loan at Genk for the current season. He has been a regular starter in their lineup this season and has represented Belgium at youth levels.

The move, orchestrated by Liverpool's global talent department under Matt Newberry, aims to bolster the club's future goalkeeping options as current contracts, including that of Alisson, are nearing expiration.
