Stuart Weitzman Marks 40 Years with Star-Studded Campaign

Stuart Weitzman is commemorating its 40th anniversary by reviving some of its most iconic footwear designs and enlisting a trio of celebrity ambassadors. The campaign features supermodel Gigi Hadid, renowned dancer Misty Copeland, and celebrated actress Yang Mi, and was unveiled on Tuesday.

The visuals, shot across the stunning skylines of New York City and Shanghai, pay homage to the brand's foundational inspiration: the modern metropolitan woman. Hadid, who was the face of Stuart Weitzman for five consecutive seasons from 2016 to 2018, expressed her emotional connection to the brand. “To come back now, 10 years later, and as a mom, to celebrate their 40th anniversary feels like a full-circle moment,” she shared.

Misty Copeland, who made history as the first Black female principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, also returned to the brand after starring in the holiday campaign of 2019. She reflected on her journey, saying, “I was thrilled to help tell the message of rising above any obstacle,” particularly after her hip surgery.

Yang Mi, who debuted with the brand in 2019, echoed a sentiment of growth. “Stuart Weitzman has been there, helping me know myself better,” she said, emphasizing the brand's role in her fashion journey.

Jonathan Lelonek, the brand's president, described the campaign as a deeply personal project that celebrates the brand's legacy while looking forward. The three ambassadors showcase the fall 2026 collection, which includes various stylish boot designs and other footwear.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Stuart Weitzman is planning a series of global events, including in New York and Shanghai. The fall 2026 collection is now available for purchase online and at select retail partners. This campaign comes on the heels of Caleres Inc.'s acquisition of the brand, aimed at revitalizing its market presence.
