A devastating explosion of pyrotechnic materials during a religious festival in Temascalcingo, Mexico, has left at least 10 people dead and 64 others injured.
The incident occurred on Saturday night near the Nuestra Senora de la Luz church, where a crowd had gathered to enjoy a fireworks display celebrating a local patron saint. Tragically, the blast caused a wall to collapse, leading to the casualties.
Officials in the municipality, which has a population of around 66,000, are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion as the community mourns the loss of life.
