By Editor • September 2, 2026 • 2 min read

This month, Vogue editors have opened up about their latest fashion acquisitions, showcasing a delightful mix of stylish essentials and trendy pieces. From chic jackets to playful denim, their selections reveal personal tastes and seasonal shifts as they prepare for the fall.

Chloe Malle, head of editorial content, is gearing up for back-to-school season, not only for her children with brands like Mini Rodini but also for herself, having added High Sport's paisley pants and an Arma Emy jacket to her wardrobe. Talia Abbas, the shopping director, shared her shopping adventure at Emily Dawn Long's studio, where she couldn't resist a slinky black set and also picked up a nylon tote from Valesque and rope sandals from Xero.

Andrea Zendejas, the commerce market editor, indulged in several purchases, including Kallmeyer’s white barrel-leg jeans and Comme Si’s lime green silk trousers. She also secured a Minnow set for her daughter as they plan late summer getaways. Minty Mellon, another commerce market editor, added simple black dresses from Araks and Cou Cou, calling them her go-to summer uniform.

With New York Fashion Week on the horizon, Christian Allaire, the senior fashion and style writer, opted for a vibrant deep purple Polo Ralph Lauren button-up and a striped Celine tie to elevate his wardrobe. Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer, splurged on Maryam Nassir Zadeh sandals, perfect for a Hawaiian wedding and versatile enough to pair with a variety of outfits.

Florence O’Connor, the content manager, did a bit of seasonal transitioning with brown jeans from Agolde and a standout pair from Citizens of Humanity. Her shopping spree also led her to Dôen’s West Village store, where she picked up the 'Florine' top, which she humorously believes was named after her.

Another editor, Sache Taylor, found a bag she couldn't resist, praised for its chic design and practical size. Despite the ongoing debate on its appropriateness for carrying her laptop, she remains committed to making it work. Alexandra Ditch, a commerce producer, highlighted her new favorite dresses from Hill House Home, which are perfect for both summer and fall, along with a new tote bag from Alex Mill that she customized at an embroidery event.

Others are also preparing for the coming season. Taylor Lashley, senior manager of social media, has returned to classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers and added a burgundy zip clutch pouch to her collection. Rose Carlisle, manager of special events, expressed her love for Booch Bags, noting their unique fabrics and limited runs that ensure each piece feels special.

Finally, Margaux Anbouba, senior beauty and wellness editor, wrapped up her summer with a restock of Supergoop! Play Sunscreen, praising its pump dispenser for easy application. With a mix of essentials and statement pieces, Vogue editors are clearly embracing their personal styles as they transition into fall.
