Olathe Stroke Survivor Finds Renewal Through Music Therapy

Bob Bergquist, an Olathe resident, is experiencing remarkable recovery from a stroke that left him unable to walk or talk just three months ago. His rehabilitation journey at Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute has been transformed by innovative music therapy.

Part of a research study known as “recovery thru intervention and sound engagement” (RISE), the therapy has helped Bergquist reconnect with joy through music, countering the challenges brought by his condition.
