Art Heist in Sicily: Four Renaissance Masterpieces Stolen

In a brazen act of theft, four invaluable Renaissance paintings, including three panels from Antonello da Messina's famed San Gregorio Polyptych, were stolen from the Regional Interdisciplinary Museum of Messina in Sicily.

The audacious thieves managed to evade security measures, leaving police puzzled as they investigate the incident. Authorities have yet to identify the culprits responsible for this significant art heist.

Interestingly, two additional paintings were later discovered abandoned in the street, raising questions about the thieves' motives and plans.
