Copenhagen Fashion Week showcased vibrant Spring/Summer 2027 collections, with denim emerging as a key player in many designers' narratives. Caro Editions' Caro Club collection, rich in embellishments, featured reworked vintage Levi’s jackets adorned with deadstock Chanel trims. Founder Caroline Bille Brahe reflected on the collection's inspiration, drawing from unforgettable nights in cities like Copenhagen and New York.

Gestuz also embraced denim, with creative director Sanne Sehested exploring 'private rituals' of women through designs that married 1970s glam with modern silhouettes. The collection highlighted sensual cuts and statement prints, incorporating soft, rounded jacket sleeves and structured wide-leg jeans.

Meanwhile, Baum und Pferdgarten channeled the aesthetic of dancers in transit, showcasing slouchy jeans paired with legwarmers and washed denim jumpsuits. Munthe presented a collection inspired by a female artist's journey, blending refined tailoring with worn worker denim, each piece narrating a story of creativity and process.

In a move towards sustainability, Collina Strada utilized leftover materials for their collection, highlighting denim with unique textures and innovative cuts. Creative director Hillary Taymour praised Copenhagen’s commitment to sustainable fashion as a core value rather than a fleeting trend.

La Bagatelle's collection featured Japanese selvedge jeans designed to evolve with wear, while Paolina Russo blurred boundaries between femininity and practicality, integrating floral designs with denim in a riot of colors. The five-day event saw attendees embracing classic blue jeans, with a new partnership announced by Iconic Brands Nordic LLC.
