Hisense has redefined smartphone design with its latest offering, the A10 Ultra, which features a unique combination of a 6.13-inch E Ink display and a 4.96-inch color touchscreen. This innovative phone allows users to magnetically attach and detach the color screen as needed, providing versatility for various tasks.
The E Ink display delivers a paper-like reading experience with a 300 PPI Carta 1300 panel, complemented by a 36-level front light that adapts to different lighting conditions. This setup ensures comfortable reading whether in bright daylight or at night, with no distractions beyond the text.
When users need to access video, maps, or take photos, they can simply snap on the color module, which operates independently of the E Ink screen. This thoughtful design prevents lag and maintains responsiveness, as a dedicated T2000 controller chip ensures smooth scrolling. After use, the color screen can easily be removed, returning the phone to its lightweight, minimalist form.
With an “Ink Smart Button” for quick mode switching and powered by a Qualcomm QCM6690 processor, the A10 Ultra exemplifies how Hisense embraces the concept of separate screens to optimize user experience, allowing for a tailored approach to mobile tasks.
