In a troubling context, extremist Israeli lawmaker Itamar Ben-Gvir made inflammatory remarks advocating for nightly killings of Gazans, suggesting that Israel should target "30 to 40" individuals each evening. His comments, made during a podcast with former hostage Rom Braslavski, have sparked outrage and were widely circulated in Palestinian media.
As Kushner prepares for his meeting with Netanyahu, it follows Hamas’s endorsement of Trump's latest Gaza plan. However, Netanyahu has maintained his stance that any agreement must ensure Hamas is fully disarmed. Kushner emphasized to Hamas the necessity for them to take "concrete, verifiable steps" to prevent Gaza from being a threat to Israel.
