Lee Unveils Limited-Edition Marilyn Monroe Capsule to Mark Icon's Centenary

In celebration of Marilyn Monroe's 100th birthday, denim brand Lee has introduced a limited-edition capsule collection, the Lee x Marilyn Monroe line. This collection pays tribute to the legendary actress, drawing inspiration from iconic images taken by Eve Arnold, which show Monroe in Lee's Storm Rider jacket while filming her final project, "The Misfits."

Vivian Rivetti, Lee's vice president of global design, emphasized the timeless appeal of Monroe's aesthetic, stating, "Our goal for this collection was to capture the essence of Marilyn through a modern Lee lens. It’s a reimagining, not a replication." The collection aims to resonate with both Monroe's fans and contemporary consumers.

Alongside the classic Storm Rider jacket, the collection features an array of stylish garments, including dresses, jeans, and tops. Sizes extend from 24 to 34 for bottoms and XS to XL for tops, incorporating premium fabrics and custom trims. Notable pieces include the boyfriend button-down shirt and the Marilyn Jean, a vintage-inspired straight leg design.
