Ozon Implements Support for Sellers Amid Ongoing Drone Attacks

In response to Ukrainian drone attacks targeting its warehouses, Russian online marketplace Ozon has introduced several support measures for its sellers. Affected sellers with Ingosstrakh insurance will be eligible for payouts on destroyed inventory once Ozon completes its inventory assessments.

Additionally, Ozon will waive storage fees for items in damaged warehouses and will relocate goods at no charge. Shipments en route to these facilities will also be diverted at Ozon's expense. To reduce returns, the platform has suspended cash-on-delivery payments in 38 regions.

Moreover, until September 22, no penalties will be enforced for sellers using the Fulfillment by Seller (FBS) model regarding order cancellations, complaints, or delays. Starting August 30, the company will also lower its warehouse storage commission by three percentage points.
