Police Raid Targets CFMEU Headquarters, Five Arrested

In a significant operation, Victoria Police raided the CFMEU headquarters in Melbourne, resulting in five arrests. The raid, part of Taskforce Hawk's investigation into corruption allegations in the construction sector, involved warrants executed at six locations, including the union's Elizabeth Street office.

CFMEU assistant administrator Matt McGowan stated that the union is aware of the police activity but refrained from commenting further due to the ongoing investigation.
