Roku Secures Exclusive Streaming Rights for NWSL Sunday Night Games

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is set to enhance its visibility through a new partnership with Roku. The agreement designates the Roku Sports Channel as the exclusive platform for a selection of Sunday night matches through the 2026 season and into 2027.

The inaugural match under this deal will feature the Seattle Reign facing off against the Houston Dash on August 30. This arrangement not only broadens Roku's sports offerings, which already include events like the X Games and Formula E, but also marks a significant elevation of its collaboration with the NWSL.

Joe Franzetta, Roku's head of sports, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing its potential to reach over half of U.S. streaming households. NWSL chief marketing officer Rachel Epstein echoed this sentiment, highlighting the commitment to expanding fan access and engagement.
