Tax Relief Measures Proposed for Wildberries Amid Ongoing Conflict

The Russian Finance Ministry is pushing for a series of support initiatives aimed at RWB Group, which combines Wildberries and Russ, as well as vendors affected by Ukrainian drone strikes.
Among the proposals, the ministry suggests extending tax payment deadlines significantly. For RWB, the deadlines for VAT (excluding imports), profit tax, and other related payments would be postponed until July 28, 2027. Individual entrepreneurs could see similar extensions, pushing deadlines for various taxes to between August 2026 and July 2027.
Additionally, the ministry seeks to halt tax audits and insurance contributions checks until the year’s end. It also proposes a six-month extension for payment demands and debt-collection decisions. This assistance is aimed at businesses and entrepreneurs suffering losses exceeding 5% of their annual income, as damage from ongoing conflicts is estimated to be in the hundreds of billions of rubles.
