A Florida father is reeling from the devastating loss of his wife and two-year-old daughter, who were tragically struck by lightning over the weekend. Kameron Glasgow and his wife, Kenya, were en route to a family gathering in Margate with their twin girls when the incident occurred.
As a storm approached on Sunday afternoon, the family attempted to seek shelter. Just moments before they could enter his aunt’s home, both Kenya and little Kennedi were struck while on the lawn. Glasgow recounted the harrowing moment, stating he felt the electric current surging through the ground.
Despite the swift response from Margate Police and first responders, who performed CPR and rushed the pair to the hospital, they could not be saved. Glasgow expressed the profound sorrow of witnessing his loved ones lifeless, saying, "Worst feeling in the world."
Known for her selflessness, Kenya was described by her husband as having "the biggest heart in the world," always putting others first. The family is now left to navigate this unimaginable grief, with Glasgow pledging to honor their memories as he supports his surviving daughter, Kensli.
