Whole Foods Issues Recall on Dips Due to Salmonella Risk

By Editor • August 27, 2026 • 1 min read

Whole Foods Market has announced a recall of several dips across 13 states linked to potentially contaminated jalapeños. This action is part of a broader Class I recall following a multistate Salmonella outbreak investigation.

The affected states include Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin. Consumers are urged to discard the dips, especially if stored in freezers.

Symptoms of Salmonella infection, which can arise 6 hours to 6 days post-consumption, include diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever. If anyone experiences these symptoms, they are advised to seek medical attention.
