Amy Hunt showcased her remarkable talent at the Diamond League final in Brussels, securing a second-place finish in the 100m sprint, clocking in at 11.06 seconds. This performance comes just a day after she achieved a podium finish in the 200m, reinforcing her status as a formidable competitor.

Hunt's latest achievement follows a standout summer where she claimed four gold medals at the European Championships. The 24-year-old British sprinter finished behind Jamaica's Tina Clayton, who won the race with a time of 10.93 seconds, and edged out American silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson, who took third place at 11.07 seconds. Reflecting on her recent performances, Hunt expressed, "I am 24 and on the up and up and up. I am not afraid of the other girls," highlighting her confidence and competitive spirit.

Looking ahead, Hunt is set to compete in both the 100m and 200m at the inaugural Ultimate Championships in Budapest, starting September 11. She remarked, "To come away with two podiums is no mean feat, and I am the only athlete to double up in the sprints and I came away with a second and a third." Meanwhile, fellow British athlete Georgia Hunter Bell finished fourth in the 1500m, facing challenges after a long and demanding season.
