H&M has appointed Aneta Pokucinska as the new managing director for North America and general manager for the U.S., effective immediately. With over 20 years of experience at H&M, Pokucinska brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her expanded role.
Pokucinska has been pivotal in overseeing H&M's operations across various markets, including her recent position as managing director for North America since July. Her previous roles encompassed regional manager for H&M's business in the Americas and Asia, as well as holding global leadership positions in merchandising and business transformation.
In her new capacity, Pokucinska aims to bolster market performance, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth across the U.S. and Canada. Exciting Designer Collaboration with Elie Saab
In addition to the leadership changes, H&M announced a highly anticipated collaboration with renowned designer Elie Saab. Known for his exquisite bridal designs, Saab has made his mark in the fashion industry and is now teaming up with H&M to create a collection that reflects both brands' aesthetics.
The Elie Saab x H&M collection will feature a mix of womenswear, menswear, and accessories, showcasing intricate details such as embellished gowns and sharply tailored pieces. The collection is set to launch in select stores and online on October 22.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's creative adviser, shared her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "Mr. Saab is a designer we have always respected… Our customer can expect a magical, ornate and glamorous collection."
