Apple Launches First Foldable iPhone Duo Alongside iPhone 18 Pro Models

Apple has officially announced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, which will be available for preorder starting October 16 and go on sale October 23. Priced at $1,999, the Duo features a 5.4-inch cover display that opens up to a 7.6-inch main display, both supporting ProMotion and up to 3,000 nits of brightness.
The iPhone Duo is powered by Apple's A20 Pro chip and includes a dual rear camera system with 48-megapixel sensors. Notably, it lacks Face ID, opting for Touch ID integrated into the side button instead. The device is made with a titanium frame and toughened glass, boasting an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
In addition to the Duo, Apple has also introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which maintain a similar design to their predecessors but feature new color options and improved camera capabilities, including variable apertures. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the Pro Max begins at $1,299.
