In this new chapter, viewers follow Eddie Horniman, now the Duke of Halstead, as he partners with Susie Glass to expand their cannabis empire beyond British borders. Their journey takes them into the perilous world of the Mafia, particularly as they engage with the formidable Marco Moretti, played by Sergio Castellito. Ritchie expressed his enthusiasm for the Italian setting, stating, "The madness of Italy’s beauty, its culture, its history and its traditions was something I felt would fit perfectly into our show."

Season 2 features stunning locales, starting with Badminton Estate, which serves as the fictional Halstead Manor. This historic property, known for its rich past and connection to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort, adds authenticity to the aristocratic setting. Supervising location manager Iggy Ellis noted that the estate’s lived-in feel was essential for the story, saying, "Badminton felt immediately right for Halstead because it’s a proper, lived-in home rather than a National Trust museum."

Other notable filming sites include Ashcombe Park, Ritchie's own estate, which provided a picturesque backdrop for a shooting party scene, and Villa Rusconi Clerici on Lake Maggiore, which was chosen for its stunning aesthetic as the residence of a Mafia heiress. Production designer Martyn John highlighted the villa's charm, remarking, "As soon as I saw the one at Lake Maggiore, I knew this was the one."
