In a thrilling announcement for fans, Radiohead has confirmed a residency in Australia and Japan for 2027, following a mysterious buildup that began at the Summer Sonic festival in Japan. This highly anticipated tour includes a staggering 21 shows across multiple cities, kicking off in Perth before heading to Melbourne, Sydney, and concluding in Saitama, Japan.

Tour Details and Locations

The band will perform at various venues in Australia, including four shows at the RAC Arena in Perth from March 5 to March 7, followed by a series of five performances at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne between March 13 and March 20. The tour will then shift to Sydney, where Radiohead is set to grace the Afterpay Arena with six shows from March 25 to March 31. The final leg of the tour will take place in Saitama, Japan, with performances scheduled from June 8 to June 13.

Looking Ahead to 2025 and Beyond

This announcement comes on the heels of Radiohead's European tour in 2025, marking their first set of live performances since 2018. Guitarist Ed O’Brien had previously hinted at a plan for annual tours on different continents, with a commitment to 20 shows each year. As excitement builds for the 2027 residency, it's clear that Radiohead continues to evolve and engage with their audience, promising new experiences alongside their classic repertoire.
