Tragic Wedding Attack in Iran: U.S. Military Strikes Claim Civilian Lives

In a devastating turn of events, a wedding ceremony in Kuhestak, Sirik County, southern Iran, was struck by U.S. military attacks, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. The victims were identified as Amir Ali Karimi, 4, Mohammad Malahi, 16, and two adults, Kolsoum and Zarkhatoun Malahi, both aged 43. Tim Hawkins, spokesperson for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), stated that the military does not target civilians, attributing the casualty reports to Iranian state media. However, evidence suggests otherwise; videos depict a direct hit on the wedding venue, with debris scattered around, including children’s slippers and bloodied belongings. Locals believe drones may have been involved in the attack.

A man named Ali Malahi, whose daughter was celebrating her wedding at the time of the strike, asserted that all attendees were civilians. A state television report confirmed that three missiles were launched, with one striking the roof and creating a significant hole. Footage from local hospitals showed wounded children and families receiving medical treatment.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society has called for international accountability, documenting the attack and urging legal action from the International Criminal Court against those responsible. Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the strikes, labeling them part of a broader pattern of atrocities committed against the nation.

As the conflict continues, U.S. military actions have resulted in significant civilian casualties and destruction across various Iranian cities.
