Trump's Envoys Meet Putin Before Heading to Ukraine

In a significant diplomatic move, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and business partner Steve Witkoff have concluded a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The White House reported that their discussions centered on 'substantive plans' aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
The three-hour dialogue, highlighted by Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov as 'highly useful', did not yield any immediate breakthroughs. Nevertheless, the talks were seen as an important step in addressing the complexities of the Ukraine war.
Following their discussions in Moscow, Kushner and Witkoff have now traveled to Kyiv, where they are expected to continue their diplomatic efforts.
