For those looking for optimal performance, the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL have advanced features in terms of screen, camera and battery.
These two devices have the same Tensor G4 processor as the standard Pixel 9, made in 4 nanometers, but with 16 GB of RAM and storage options of up to 1 TB.
The Pixel 9 Pro incorporates an OLED screen with FullHD+ resolution in a 20:9 ratio with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The compact model comes in at 6.34 inches while the XL model stays at 6.73 inches with which we Google used to.
On the back of the Pixel 9 Pro is a triple camera that includes wide-angle, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, with a new 42MP front-facing sensor, the highest resolution of a Pixel front-facing camera to date.

One of the most interesting features of the design is that they are now much more resistant to drops and shocks. Specifically, they have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which makes them twice as durable as the previous generation.
In addition, autonomy and fast charging with 45W have also been improved, which allows the Pro XL to have a 70% battery with only 30 minutes. In terms of capacities, it has a 5,060 mAh battery while the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro drop to 4,700 mAh.
Its operating system is Android 14, but as usual, the Pixel 9 will be one of the first smartphones on the market to receive the update to Android 15. In addition, they will have 7 years of operating system and security updates guaranteed.
Google's foldable Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The new Pixel Fold is narrower than last year and takes on an almost square shape when unfolded. This also leads to better ergonomics when closed.
The frame is now made of aircraft-grade aluminum, which is completely recycled, instead of the steel of the previous one. Google also says the stainless steel hinge has been improved to “hold fold after fold,” but doesn't mention specific changes.
Meanwhile, the inside Super Actua screen reaches 8 inches and has a resolution of 2,076 by 2,152. The internal one also supports dynamic refresh rates that vary between 1 Hz and 120 Hz depending on the content being played on the screen.
