Snow is formally within the forecast.
The Nationwide Climate Service in Buffalo issued a winter climate advisory for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Wyoming and southern Erie counties in impact from 5 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday. The climate service stated four to 7 inches of snow may fall throughout that point, with wind gusts of as much as 45 mph and stronger close to the Lake Erie shoreline.
“Plan for slippery street situations” the climate service stated in its alert. “Irregular snow may considerably scale back visibility. Hazardous situations may have an effect on the morning journey. … Durations of snow will lead to snow coated roads and restricted visibility. Decelerate and watch out when driving.
